San Jose Defender Frequently Asked Questions:

  • There are restaurants and coffee shops surrounding the Defender office.

 

  • The Defender office is roughly a ten minute walk from the federal building.  While an ID is not needed to enter the Defender office, it is needed for the federal courthouse. There is a metal detector at the entrance of the federal courthouse.

 

  • The San Jose Office represents defendants charged with federal crimes from Gilroy to Redwood City, including San Jose, San Mateo, and Burlingame.
